Academic exchange

Douglas Toll was a man who, within a long life-span, was able to accumulate a vast treasure of orthodontic knowledge. He was an avid researcher himself and always in search of creative solutions. A passionate, life-long student and teacher, he entertained a cooperation with the Landeszahnärztekammer Hessen (the Hessian Chamber of Dentists) that stretched over four decades. The Chamber of Dentists bestowed him with the authority to teach orthodontics to postgraduate orthodontic students soon after the onset of their coorperation. Also, he trained dental assistants.

Douglas Toll established collaborations with several international academic institutions (universities):

- Berlin (FU Berlin, Berlin Chamber of Dentists )/Germany

- Greifswald/Germany

- Kiel/Germany

- Frankfurt (u.a. Erasmus-Programm)/Germany

- Maryland/USA

- UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles)/USA

- USC (University of Southern California)/USA

- School of Dentistry, Michigan/USA

We wish to follow the tradition that Douglas Toll began. Our collaborations with international academic institutions (universities) include:

- Kiel/Germany

- Marburg/Germany

- Frankfurt/Germany

- Podgorica/Montenegro

- Sao Paulo/Marílla/Brazil

- New York/NY/USA

We are delighted and proud about this active exchange.
